Privacy Policy

Tabbase is a personal knowledge base that turns the articles you save into a library you can search and learn from. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Account info. Email address and display name from your Google sign-in or magic-link login, via Supabase Auth.
• Saved content. The articles and excerpts you choose to save — title, source URL, extracted text, optional notes.
• Usage logs. Minimal request logs (endpoint, response time, error rate) to keep the service healthy.
• Anonymous traffic stats. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page visits and referral sources on tabbase.com. It is cookieless and does not store any identifier in your browser; it does not track you across sites.
• Funnel events. Once you sign in, we record a small number of milestone events tied to your account (signup, first save, first search) so we can tell whether the product is helping people. No mouse tracking, no session replay, no third-party cookies.

How we use it

• Provide search, recall, and Q&A over the content you saved.
• Generate concept summaries (LLM Wiki) for your library.
• Send transactional email (login links, account notifications).
• Debug failures and improve reliability.

We do not sell your data, show ads, or use your content to train third-party models.

Who we share with

Tabbase relies on a small set of processors that run on our behalf:

• Supabase — authentication and account database.
• Google Cloud — API hosting and encrypted backups.
• Anthropic — LLM inference for summaries and Q&A. Your content is sent only at request time and is not retained for training per Anthropic's enterprise terms.
• Vercel — hosting and anonymous, cookieless traffic analytics for the web app.

Data retention

Your saved content stays until you delete it. If you close your account, we delete your library within 30 days. Backups are rotated and permanently removed within 90 days.

Your choices

• Delete individual saved articles at any time from the extension.
• Request a full export or deletion of your account by emailing support.
• Revoke Google sign-in from your Google account settings.
